Liquid Light Stabilization System for Coatings
Overview
BLS® 556 is a fully formulated, liquid light stabilization system developed for use in solvent-based coatings for industrial and decorative applications. It is particularly recommended for use in acid catalyzed coating systems and in oxidative drying systems.

Solubility
The solubility of BLS® 556 in most coating solvents is greater than 50% by weight at room temperature. The solubility in water is less than 0.01% by weight.
Applications
BLS® 556 provides excellent performance as a light stabilizer in solvent-based industrial and decorative coatings. Suggested applications include general industrial coatings, architectural coatings, marine coatings, ceramic and glass coatings, and adhesives. Due to its low basicity, it is particularly recommended for use in acid catalyzed coating systems and in oxidative drying systems.
