Hindered amine light stabilizer (HALS)
Overview
BLS® 600 is a high molecular weight hindered amine light stabilizer (HALS) that provides protection against photo-oxidative degradation in plastics, fibers, and adhesives.
Advantages
- Highly effective as a light stabilizer in plastics, both in thin and thick sections
- Narrow polydispersity provides consistent performance during processing and end use
- Provides enhanced long-term thermal oxidative stability in polyolefins
- Synergistic performance with other light stabilizers (HALS, UV absorbers, benzoates)
- Low volatility, good resistance to extraction, low interaction with pigments and fillers
- FDA cleared in polyolefins
