- High solubility in many solvents, monomers, or intermediates
- Easily emulsifiable in water-based adhesives
- Suitable for various substrates without compatibility issues
- Maintains stability even at elevated temperatures
- Offers high absorption and protection efficiency
- Does not crystallize in liquid photographic emulsions
Guidelines for Use
Suggested use levels of BLS® 751 typically range from 0.2% to 5.0%, depending on the substrate and performance requirements of the final application. In polyurethanes, concentrations range between 0.2% and 0.5%, while in PVC applications, concentrations range from 0.3% to 0.5%, with up to 5% for co-extruded PVC. In adhesives, the recommended concentration is between 0.5% and 1.0%. BLS® 751 can be used alone or in combination with other functional additives, such as antioxidants (hindered phenols, phosphites) and HALS light stabilizers. Please contact your Mayzo representative for specific recommendations for your application.
