Liquid Light Stabilization System for Coatings
Overview
BLS® 608 is a fully formulated, liquid light stabilization system developed for use in water-based and solvent-based coatings for industrial and decorative applications. It is also suitable for use as a light stabilizer in polyurethanes, liquid color masterbatches, adhesives, and sealants.

Solubility
The solubility of BLS® 608 in most coating solvents is greater than 50% by weight at room
temperature. The solubility in water is less than 0.01% by weight. For use in water-based coating systems, a water-miscible co-solvent such as butyldiglycol can be used to facilitate dispersion.
Applications
BLS® 608 provides excellent performance as a light stabilizer in water-based and solvent-based industrial and decorative coatings. Suggested applications include general industrial coatings, architectural coatings, marine coatings, wood coatings and wood care products, marine coatings, ceramic and glass coatings, refinish coatings, and adhesives. It is also useful as a light stabilizer in other applications where a liquid product form is desired, including polyurethanes, liquid color masterbatches, adhesives, and sealants.
