Applications
BLS® 2950 is ideal for use as a light stabilization system for hot melt adhesives derived from styrenic block copolymers (SIS, SBS, etc.) or EVA.
Advantages
- Reduces discoloration and loss of tack in hot melt adhesives associated with UV exposure
- Convenient pellet product form for easy handling and dosing
Guidelines for Use
Suggested use levels in hot melt adhesives range from 0.25 to 1.5% by weight, depending upon the substrate, processing conditions, end use, and other performance requirements. The exact formulation to be used is dependent on the substrate, performance requirements, and other factors, and should be determined by the user based on testing to simulate actual conditions of use. Please contact your Mayzo representative for specific recommendations for your application.
Storage
This product may be stored up to two years in a sealed container. Containers should be kept tightly closed when not in use and stored in a cool, dry place.
