Mayzo Celebrates 2,000 Safe Workdays – A Rare Industry Achievement

On May 27, 2025, Mayzo proudly reached an incredible milestone: 2,000 consecutive workdays without a recordable injury. This achievement is a reflection of our team’s ongoing dedication to creating a safe and supportive work environment.

While this level of consistency is uncommon in our industry, especially for a company of our size and operational scope, we recognize that it is not about numbers alone. Industry data suggests that companies like ours typically see 1.5 to 3 workplace injuries per year. Over the same time period, that could have meant 8 to 16.5 injuries. Instead, we have worked together to prioritize safety every day, and this milestone reflects that shared commitment.

A key part of this culture has been our daily safety meetings, led by a different employee each week. This approach brings fresh ideas, encourages engagement, and reminds us that safety is not just a policy, it is something we all contribute to.

“Reaching 2,000 safe workdays is not just a number, it reflects the strong culture we have built together. I am incredibly proud of our team for making safety a shared priority every single day.”
— Garry Schoolcraft, VP of Operations

“This milestone shows what is possible when everyone is aligned and looking out for one another. It is a credit to the whole team’s focus, care, and consistency.”
— Mike Tucker, Director of Operations

We know that maintaining a safe workplace is a continuous journey, and this milestone is a meaningful reminder of what we can achieve when we work together. Thank you, Team Mayzo, for making safety a part of who we are.
